Happy Groundhog Day! Well as of today at 7:25 am Punxsutawney Phil, our furry little friend in Pennsylvania, decided that spring was fast approaching. With that in mind, it is time for you to do some exciting winter activities in the city if you haven’t already. Every year it is a winter must that I make it to Boston’s Frog Pond in the Boston Common. Admission to get in is only $6 or if you are under 58′ inches you get in free, what a steal! For college students who attend a school in Boston they also have students nights, where if you show your Id it is only $3 admission! Even if you’re not the best at ice skating like myself, it is still a great place to go to experience. I definitely encourage you to get a hot chocolate from there café, it is hands down one of the bests I have ever had. It is the perfect place for families to go if they are having family fun night, it makes the perfect date night for going out on the town with your crush, or even a place to go if you wanted a care free night for yourself that would be fun. It has the most perfect scenery with all the trees lit up with a great range in music as well. Oh yeah and there is no need to worry about not having a pair of skates! You can rent a pair when you get there. It is only $6 for kids and $12 for adults. They can also sharpen any skates of your own for only $3 and they even have cute blue seal seats that you can rent for toddlers, to get on the ice and enjoy the fun too! So before spring beats you to it make sure you get to visit Boston’s Frog Pond!
